The XD3-40d is the first model being brought to market from the series. This new direct thermal desktop label printer features a 4-inch (118mm) media width and is available as XD3-40d (203dpi), XD3-43d (300dpi) print resolution model options. The standard XD3-40d model offer fast data processing and print speeds up to 5 ips (127mm/sec) at 203 dpi to produce high quality printing text, graphics and 1D/2D barcodes. The label printer is fully compatible with market-leading programming languages including SLCS, BPL-Z?, BPL-E?, while supporting Smart Switch Programming Language.
The XD3 series supports a media roll diameter up to 127 mm, with USB V2.0 interface is standard and optional USB V2.0 + Serial + Ethernet. Alongside supporting an optional peeler and external paper supply. The XD3 is compatible with label design software including BIXOLON’s Label Artist-II? and BarTender?, while supporting Windows and Linux SDKs. The label printer also offers easy toolless replacement maintenance of the roller and printer head.
